The Pencelli Hotel reopened its doors in May 2025 following huge investment turning the historic building into a modern and refurbished pub, restaurant and hotel. Surrounded by the picturesque and tranquil beauty of the Rhondda Valley mountains, The Pencelli Hotel is perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area of Treorchy (Voted Britain’s Best High Street in 2020) or use as a base to explore further afield.

Our 11 boutique bedrooms are individually designed and offer beautiful views of the surrounding areas. A large public layby directly opposite the hotel provides ample parking for guests.

Eat and drink with us

Our garden area boasts six, 6 seater booths equipped with TV and heating. We also have two large 6 person tables under a covered area. Friendly dogs welcome in garden area.
